so it's been like a year since my last post.... oops

Lots has gone down.  I got a new job.  I am the Asst Night Supervisor at a Hospital in town.   I like the hours, but the people are wearing me down.  So in two months I'll be moving to a new position on Day shift haven't decided which one.  I turned down a dream job from my youth of being an Informatics Specialist with Beckman Coulter.  That hurt but it wasn't the right fit for my life at the moment.  I'm trying to get my routine in sync and back online.  My church life back on, my gym life and my home life.  The last few months I've let the stress of people at work wear me down all I wanted to do was go to the gym teach my classes and sleep.  My home looked like the home of a depressed person.  I couldn't do anything.  Thankfully I have a cleaning lady so it could only get so bad.  Slowly getting back on track.  In February I put my Lab Director on notice that I would be moving to a dayshift position, either in the hospital or with another facility.  She perked up at that letting be know about the positions opening this summer.  It didn't stop me from going over my options and interviewing elsewhere but the jobs are there with no competition for both.  One I'm pretty much a shoe in for and it's a good fit for my skills, my director is already working with me on it just waiting for it to post.  I let her know my intentions of taking over the assistant lab director position when it opens, she pretty much agreed the position she wants me for would prepare me better for it than the one I currently have. 


So I decided that I would no longer sleep my days away and leave chores for my few days off.  I sleep, then get up and just do what I need to do, and if I don't have anything to do or clean I play video games or put together a Lego set, or while I'm prepping go to the gym again.  It's been two weeks since all this has finally come to happen and I'm a much happier person.




So Competition season is upon us again!  My shoes this year are May 12th the Capital City Classic ( Maryland) , and the Cutler classic in August (Richmond)  If I place well in either one, then I will compete in a national show the North Americans at the end of August.  Then I'll be done for the season.  I will not do another show during Football Season... WAY TOO HARD.  But using my nutrition coach and about 8 weeks so I've started double cardio.  Let's see oooooooooooooo  I started taking kickboxing in August, that's helped a lot with the stress.  It's also how I know I was depressed with my job situation, I wasn't going nearly as much.  But now that I'm back on at least 3 days a week my mood is improving.  Go figure punching stuff helps me deal with work stress :0)  ANYWAY, back on Kickboxing vibe.  Make sure you like my facebook profile picture I'm trying to win a contest

SO my goal weight is again 110 though last year I competed at 108.  110 is attainable I only have 5 lbs to drop and double cardio and my new eating plan will do it for me.  My problem area last year was glutes not being tight enough when I walked so I'm focusing on that with my weights while I do double cardio.  kickboxing as one of my cardios and prepping for Body attack 100 has really helped.  Staying away from my scale has as well.  SCALES LIE! SO I'm going by progress pictures and just doing weigh ins monthly cause SCALES LIE! Pictures don't.  If I have the look I want my May 1st I'm signing up for the Capital Classic


Back on the gallon water club, using #gymflo Built to Burn and love it along with #itworks Greens and  #aldis brand crystal light and #vitaminshoppe brand glutamine, CLA.  That's it for supplements most of those are things in my water anyway, except the CLA.  I can't find a powder of that. 


ALSO!!!!!!!! aside from job offers, getting my life together in general and becoming debt free in April.  TOTALLY DEBT FREE ( aside mortgage and utilities) like student loans too.
