Should not get in convos online with people who don't know

OK so i do this all the time.  Trying to spread logic in an illogical world but honestly.... if people would just think before they jump on the band wagon they would be better for it.

So I just finished an online disagreement about Gluten Free Diets.  He was stating that it was healthier to eat Gluten Free and it's why he's so carved up.
He's half right.  If he's working out, and on a Gluten Free Diet he's gonna be more chiseled because he's basically on a carb free diet.  All the carb heavy foods that are eliminated by a gluten free diet will indeed make a person more chiseled.
Gluten free means:

  • no bread
  • no pasta
  • no beer
  • NO chips
  • No sauces
  • No salad dressings

It means more :
  • Beans, seeds, nuts in their natural, unprocessed form
  • Fresh eggs
  • Fresh meats, fish and poultry (not breaded, batter-coated or marinated)
  • Fruits and vegetables
  • Most dairy products
All things good for Muscle development.

However, Stating whether it's healthier or not than someone using Whole Wheat pasta or flour is not true.  Whole Wheat is healthy and good for you... unless you have Celiac disease or a gluten allergy.  THEN it's unhealthy for you.

I'm sure he's the poster child for buying all those things on the shelf that says it's gluten free when it's really not.  Does he read the package? If he did he'd realize beer is not gluten free, cider is... not beer.

Honestly the only healthy way to eat/shop at a grocery store is to go to the edges of the store where you will find the veggies, fruits and meats.  Make sure you avoid the alcohol and bakery which lives out there and you will soon be shredded up nicely.  ALSO looking at the recent picture of the dude on his FB of him holding a beer when he said he's been gluten free for 2 years... no bruh... no  #LegionOfBoom #droppingknowledge
